Outreach

“Beloved, if God loved us, we ought also to love one another.” 1 John 4:11

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

The Outreach Committee of Harundale Presbyterian Church encourages and enables the whole congregation to welcome everyone into our church home. We do this by providing a welcoming environment to anyone who passes through our doors as well as sponsoring various activities throughout the year.

Visitors are always invited to join our congregation. We encourage you to speak with an usher, pastor or someone on our Outreach Committee during your visit.

Fellowship

Throughout the year, the Outreach Committee coordinates Fellowship time  following worship, at which time visitors, seekers and members can  get to know each other better, while enjoying light refreshments.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

Held the Tuesday before Lent begins, we invite all to attend, enjoy pancakes and prepare for the Lenten season.

Fall Fun Fest

In autumn, late September or early October we host a fun filled event on our front lawn. This event is free to all, we only ask that you leave happy. Stop by and enjoy hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy, the moon bounce and many other fun filled games.

Other Events

Beyond the events described above, the worship committee uses its energy to find creative ways to reach to our neighbors and invite them to join us here at HPC.  Previous events have included family movie nights, bringing in local music groups, and participating in local parades.  What will 2020 hold?
